Giving Thanks

Did you have a fun Thanksgiving?! Did you play games with your family, eat lots of yummy food and go Black Friday shopping?! These are some of our traditions and we had a great time! I love that I can get up without an alarm clock, when I want to, and do what I want to do. Even though I have also been working on homework this weekend (yuck!), I have still been taking it easy as well. I hope you have as well!

I also watched the new video put out by the LDS church this week. It is so great! I wanted to share this with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I love this time of the year, with candy, lights, music and magic. Even though money is tight this year, we are attempting to focus on serving instead of receiving. I am excited to try this!

He is the Gift

Ready for Black Friday......

How do you spend your Black Friday? Do you stand in long lines to get the one gift you need/want this year? Do you shop on Thanksgiving Day? Or early Friday morning? Do you have any traditions around Black Friday?  My kids LOVE Black Friday for some reason..I guess because they love to shop, especially my boys. Weird huh?? I think it's the fun of being together more than the actual 'shopping' that they enjoy....whether they are with friends of family, or both.

This year we are on a very tight budget for Christmas and are trying to focus more on others rather than our own needs.  But, I do enjoy looking at the ads and I also enjoy great online sales, SO much easier than standing in long lines, late at night (or early in the morning), and in the cold or snow.

Since I am now selling Younique, these will be easy gifts for me to give this year for sure.  Makeup is always a great gift for women, especially our 3D Fiber Mascara since it is one of a kind and everyone is loving longer, thicker lashes these days. Battling Extreme Emotion

I read this article today about battling extreme emotion.  Since I have suffered with depression all of my life, I love to read articles from others that address this topic.  I enjoyed this one as it helped me look at negative emotions in a different way.  I think we all battle this at one time or another in our lives and for some of us, it can be a daily struggle.  I hope you will read this short article and enjoy it as much as I did.

Throw back Thursday

Since I couldn't decide what to write about tonight, I decided to throw it back To one year ago. We were in a less than 30 days count down for my missionary to come home! It was such an exciting time and is so hard to believe that he has been home for almost a year now.  The 2 years went by very slowly for me but now time is flying again.  I am so grateful for each of my children and for what they teach me. I know they are each here for a special purpose in my life and I feel blessed to be their mother.

I am so excited to finally get this blog up and running! I have been wanting to do this for awhile, for various reasons. I really would wanted a place for women to go to find daily inspiration, motivation, tips, tricks and so much more! So, this blog will be lots of random things, but hopefully each of you will be able to find something that you need at that moment. I will also blog about products and businesses that I love and purchase from, especially those that I am involved in.  I get involved when I find a product I love and that I want to share with everyone.  So, I will have links available for you to also purchase or learn more.
